Grandpa and Granny started out as a small mixed farm, then in 2017 added 13,000 Haskap Berry bushes and opened it to the public, so all could enjoy a healthy, fresh-from-the-farm U-pick experience. But the furry and feathered friends were also a huge hit with our visitors, so with their encouragement we decided to expand the experience and added an educational farm viewing zoo and farm-themed adventure park.
Now, we are Alberta’s NEWEST and LARGEST Adventure Farm – and we are just getting started!!!

A Hub Of Activity & Home to Many Happy Animals
Look for the purple Flags, then drive through the purple gates and be prepared to fall in love with many of our Farm Animals. As you walk through the Farm, you will see the color purple in all its glory!!! All the animal structures, including the coops, granaries, and yes, even our Barn is painted in a vibrant shade of purple.
A real family farm owned by Grandpa and Granny, but with an actual playground that includes Canada’s First Farm Ninja Obstacle course and soooooo much more. Sassy G’s offers a unique and authentic farm experience. See real farm animals, plus a few exotic animals to add to the fun, then run and play and get some good old-fashioned fresh country air.
Our favorite scene on the farm is families playing and laughing together, having good old fashion fun. Every activity is created so families can have fun while competing, which makes many full belly laughs.
Come challenge your kids, mom, dad, or grandparent to a race and see who wins. (We always cheer for Granny).
Grandpa and Granny’s farm provides plenty of room for your family to explore and play—no risk of bumping shoulders with strangers or standing in long lines. If you choose to jump on the pillows, climb tire mountain, try your aim at the throwing games, or sit quietly and play a game of giant checkers, we have something to keep you entertained for hours and guarantee you won’t run out of things to do.
